Set Up Icon For Splunk App OR Add-on
This blog is going to be very short but useful at the same time. We had created a custom add-on in our Splunk deployment known as “Best Dashboards”. We will try to set icons to our newly created app.
You need to follow the below naming conventions and also need to maintain the sizes of those files as mentioned below.
As you can see all of my icons with proper naming conventions and with dimensions.
Now we will go to this given path
$SPLUNK_HOME/etc/apps/<appName>/static
And we will paste all of our icons there.
Now we will restart our Splunk server.
Now log in to your instance with the credentials and check whether it is affected or not.
See it’s working perfectly and looking really professional right!
